Admission Procedure

We are currently taking applications for all grades K4 through 8 for the 2008-2009 school year. If you wish your child to be considered for possible admission to Saint Mary’s Catholic School, please follow the admissions steps below.   1. Complete application form.
  2. Submit with application form:
    • Official state-issued birth certiftcate (copy)

    3. Before September 1st, students must be:
    Grade K4 — 4 years old
    Grade K5 — 5 years old
    Grade 1 — 6 years old
    • Baptismal certificate (copy).
    • Social Security card (copy).
    • Official South Carolina Immunization Record (copy).
    • Academic transcripts.
    • Recommendation
    from a former school administrator.
  3. Submit to Saint Mary’s Catholic Church: the Parishioner Verification Form, if applicable.
  4. Admission Test. All applicants for admission must be tested for acceptance to grades K5 thru 8.

Tuition – St. Mary’s Catholic School utilizes a two-tier tuition rate: St. Mary’s parishioners and non-parishioners. In order for families to qualify for the St. Mary’s parishioner rate, they must be registered members for a minimum of six months, attend Mass faithfully, and contribute to the support of the church according to their financial means.
