Ducks Volleyball
St. Mary’s Volleyball repeated history by winning the 2010 Carolina Middle School Championship. Under the guidance of coach, Megan Soulsby, the Ducks went undefeated (14-0) to win the regular season championship. In addition, the Ducks won the Tournament Championship. St. Mary’s had three players placed on the All Conference Team:

St. Mary’s Volleyball won their first championship on Friday evening, October 17th 2008 by defeating St. Joseph’s Catholic School. Lead by eight graders, Elizabeth Eager, Mary John Long, Stephanie Orr, Katherine Reynolds, Ana Taylor, and Ellen Willis the team ended the season 14-3. Three of those wins came in the 2008 Carolina Middle School Conference Tournament giving the Lady Ducks the Championship Title. Katherine Reynolds was named to the 2008 Carolina Middle School All Conference team.
Only five short years ago, Middle School sports was introduced at St. Mary’s Catholic School. During the first year, the Lady Ducks Volleyball Team was matchless but now they have become Champions. Go Ducks and we look forward to next year.
