St. Mary's Catholic School Mission & Philosophy
The primary mission of St. Mary’s School is to invite our students to follow the Lord Jesus Christ as obedient disciples in faith, hope, and love, and every activity in the school is subordinated to this apostolic purpose. In our curriculum, academic excellence, athletic challenge, artistic expression, and character formation are integrated in the effort to serve the evangelical mission of St. Mary’s Church and School.
In addition to transmitting the Gospel to our students, we seek to instill in them all of the human virtues celebrated in classical wisdom and Catholic tradition. By teaching our children to love righteousness in all its forms, we prepare them to serve Christ and His Church by respecting the human dignity of each person, and through regular participation in the Most Holy Eucharist and systematic catechesis, our students are introduced to the Christian life in all its richness.
Our program is not restricted only to extraordinary students, but it is intended only for children of families with deep commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and genuine respect for the classical forms and disciplines of Christian education. The faculty and staff of St. Mary’s School are dedicated to the integral formation of our pupils, and we work with our parents as a single community of many families to serve each child and motivate every student.
Our years at St. Mary’s will end with graduation and we will take with us a diploma, a multitude of memories, lasting friendships and a deeper, stronger faith that will serve us well in life…
